We would like to invite you to join Los Compadres and help us continue our work to preserve and develop these historic touchstones into America’s premier urban national park.

The missions are more than architectural relics – they are vibrant living representations of the spirit that established our city. And, as the third most visited site in San Antonio, they are a major contributor to our economy.

The National Park Service has a master plan to protect and develop these historic touchstones but they can’t do it alone. These missions are national treasures but their primary care has been entrusted to the “Compadres” of San Antonio.

Los Compadres and our members have undertaken a commitment to our history and to our future and this will be our legacy to the generations who come after us.
